This substrate is just plain awesome. The substrate size works perfectly for Cornsnakes....hatchlings all the way up to adult size. This substrate helps maintain the humidity at the proper level living here in far west TX. Awesome product!!!!

Currently building a bioactive enclosure, this item arived fast and on time, amazing!

I recently purchased the 4 x 2 x 2 Vivarium Electronics Reptile Enclosure for my Blue Tongue Skink. I purchased it with the red frame as I really liked the looks. I also purchased the base on casters as well as two matching terrarium stackers. I have one stacker on the base, and the cage on top of that. And then the other stacker on top of the cage to hide the lights. I did that in hopes that the 4 x 2 x 18" cage will come back into stock and I will purchase that.
Shipping was outstanding, it was quick and everything was extremely well packed.
As to the cage, its pretty much what you would expect if you watch any online videos. It has an aluminum frame and the PVC panels slide in. Assembly is very easy. The screen top is very sturdy and the cage it fairly solid. I am keeping it in a den I made in my basement.
Right now I am heating it with a 100w Arcadia Golden Sun halogen bulb. I also have a UVB bulb by Arcadia and two strip led plant lights from Amazon. The heat bulb is on the far left and it keeps the warm side in the mid 80's and a basking spot of up to 107 on top of his log to about 99-103 on the floor depending how far away from the bulb. The bulb is in a Flukers 8 1/2" dome on top of the screen. The cool side is at room temp at about 75 degrees. In the winter my den will drop to about 64 degrees. In anticipation of that I purchased the HumiShield, which is impressively heavy. With that on the cage I will either add a heat panel or a ceramic heater to help with winter temps. I do not anticipate any problems with the temps or humidity with that in place.
For those wondering, a local pet shop has the newer versions of the Dubia Enclosures in stock with one that was set up. They are the same exact cage. The only differences are the colors offered, the substrate panel on the VE model is PVC and its plexiglass of acrylic on the Dubia model, which I do no like. Also the bases are different. I like the shorter VE on wheels much better. The stackers are exactly the same, they both come with two metal bars that slide into place that help with the substrate weight of the cage above. Reptichip should update their site and video instructions to show this, as it is an important part of the stacker.
Overall I am very satisfied with the setup and with Reptichip as a dealer. Just get the 18" tall model back in the stock lol!!!!!

I ordered this bulb for my 4x2x2 enclosure for my breeding pair of Leopard Geckos. They love it. I love the fact that I can get these on auto ship so I can be sure to change the lights out on a regular basis. My Geckos will be top health with the constant potent UVB lighting. The perfect light for my 5x2x2 bioactive retic enclosure! SO glad I got the option for adjustable brightness, they are BRIGHT (have mine set to 50% and my retic spends all day "basking"). I tried at 100% and she hid; so, two satisfied customers! Looking forward to buying some for my four other retic bioactives!

I needed a larger rack system for my breeder ball pythons & boas, this is the perfect size. Excellent design, super simple to install the casters and even with 2 large snakes, there plenty of room for them to move around. Works great paired with a Herpstat 1 & a 4x2x18” enclosure for my ball python. Very happy with it, effortless temp control. If you’ve got a PVC tank I would definitely recommend getting some small bolts & nuts to attach it to the ceiling of your enclosure, just peace of mind so that it can’t ever fall off and hurt your snake.

It’s great,by far the best bedding I have ever used! Mix it with Reptichip for my reptiles and they love it! Plus it holds humidity great! Will be a repeat buyer
