Enclosure height matters as much as species. The Dragon 14% exists for tall enclosures and long mounting distances, where a lower strength would not reach the basking zone. Measure from the bulb to where the animal actually sits.

LED provides brightness, brings out an animal's colour, and grows live plants, but produces no usable UVB. Most naturalistic and bioactive enclosures run both, and LumenIZE jumper cables let you link a T5 and an LED bar off a single power source.
Start with the animal group in the finder above, then check your enclosure height. Forest 6% suits shaded and arboreal species. ShadeDweller 7% suits crepuscular animals and most snakes. Desert 12% suits open arid baskers. Dragon 14% exists for large desert species and for any high UV animal in an enclosure over 24 inches tall, where a lower strength will not reach the basking zone at useful intensity.
Same fixture, same bulb, same UVB output. The LumenIZE version adds Bluetooth control and sunrise to sunset simulation through the Arcadia app, so light ramps gradually instead of switching on hard. That matters most for animals sensitive to sudden light changes, such as ball pythons and crested geckos, and for anyone running several enclosures on different schedules. The ProT5 does the same lighting job with a simple on and off, and pairs well with a plug timer.

Yes, significantly. A standard mesh screen blocks a large share of the UVB reaching your animal. If the fixture sits on top of a screen rather than inside the enclosure, step up a strength or mount the fixture inside using a bracket.
Yes. Up to ten Arcadia ProT5 kits run from a single power source, which is what makes them practical across a rack or a wall of enclosures. Jumper cables are available for T5 to T5, LED to LED, and T5 to LED.
